1000 Best Sites For Families And Seniors

Good Senior Sites

Being a senior myself, I’ve been highly motivated to find many kinds of sites helpful to seniors. The sections below called “I Fell Into The Doughnut Hole” and “Free And Low-Cost Medical Care” tell about low-cost and free prescriptions and free medical and dental care for seniors who need it. Under “Senior Social Life And Travel” you’ll find travel sites especially for seniors and/or people with disabilities.

The “Staying Sharp” section below lists some of the many things seniors can do to prevent Alzheimer’s. You’ll find more ways to do this in the Diet and Nutrition main section and in the exercise part of the Outdoor, Environment, and Exercise main section. The main Brain Games section also gives tips on how to boost your memory and brain power, along with links to many puzzle and game sites. In fact, collecting ways you and I can fend off Alzheimer’s has become a hobby of mine!

Seniors will find, in the main Employment section, two parts especially for them:

     (1) “Career Moves After Age 40,” with an extensive listing of job sites for older people, and,

     (2) “Giving Back In The Second Half Of Life,” which describes the opportunities opening up for seniors to use their experience to give back to others.

Jobs as caretakers or house sitters, which are so well suited to seniors’ schedules, are in the Senior Travel section below.
