“KILLER RESOURCES” FOR ENTREPRENEURS

I loved the quote by Howard Aiken: “Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats."

WIKI WEB PAGES BUSINESSES CAN USE

It's all at PBWIKI.COM. The PB stands for Peanut Butter, meaning that you can make your own web page as easily as you make a peanut butter sandwich. When I first visited this site, it seemed to me it was just a little casual site where ordinary people did peanutty things. This time I pay a visit and find out it’s collaborating with more than 20,000 businesses. Either my memory’s lousy, or someone’s gotten busy.

NATIONAL TELEPHONE DIRECTORY SEARCH

You can download the personal version of ARGALI for free. The program allows you to search for people and businesses all over the U.S. (Sorry, it doesn’t have other countries, though other countries no doubt have similar things.) ARGALI is also a reverse directory, in which you insert the phone number and they give you the street address. And, as they point out, their directory search program is great if you’re traveling and want to find a good motel or restaurant at your destination. To understand more about the program, click on “Take a Tour” at the top of the opening page.
